Hey there everyone!
Looooooooooong time no see! Whether you’re reading this now, or you’re new and are tracking back, let me just say again. When I started this little blog, the one thing I did not want was for it to become something that felt like a burden. Before I graduated in May, my life was SO busy all the time and I have barely had any time for myself in several years. That said, after I graduated, all I really wanted to do was spend some much deserved R & R time.
I’m feeling much more rested and ready to kickoff this new year! Speaking of the New Year, did you guys set any resolutions? I know some people don’t believe in resolutions, but I love the idea of a new year and new beginnings with a fresh start. With so much more free time now I was definitely ready to create a lot of new goals for myself this year.
– Volunteer at the local OPAC center.
– Run 10 miles.
– Become a morning workout person.
-Get involved in music again.
-Run a race. (I’ve been saying this for years. It’s finally time!)
– Go on an overnight hike/camping trip.
-Travel to a new place.
-Organize EVERYTHING in my house.
– Read at least 24 books this year.
– Apply to take the Licensed Professional Counseling exam.
– Ride my bike more and hopefully join our local bike club.
I have already started working on a couple of these. I auditioned for my former college’s community choir the other day and made Soprano! I also spent this past week getting up a few mornings at 4 a.m. to go to the gym (can’t believe I actually did it!) More on that later. It’s a three day weekend for me, so I’m off to enjoy it! And since there was not a single picture in this post, I’ll leave you with this.
